Can anyone be a full time student and full time worker?

If a full time job does not hinder your grades, you can do both. However, most students cannot handle both responsibilities at the same time.

Why is Obama allowed to quote the bible?

Students in public schools do not have free speech. That was decided by the Supreme Court a long time ago. A valedictorian at a private Christian school is allowed to say whatever he/she wants about God, but it was decided that to force a public school student to hear about any religion is a violation of his/her rights. One might ask about students' freedom of religion. The Supreme Court would answer that they are not removing students' right to practice religion. They are only disallowing them from forcing others to see or hear it. There is no command in the Bible that forces a follower to pray in public, or talk about God during school hours. Do I agree with this. No. A school should not force any student to observe any religious practice, but I believe that a students' free speech should not be infringed. The problem, however, is that it was decided that offensive language could be prohibited at a public school. Most people would agree with that. But apparently atheists find any mention of God offensive, so it has gotten sticky. What would happen if a Muslim filed suit because a school mentioned pork, and he/she felt offended? Who knows. Maybe we'll find out some day.

What are my chances of getting into these colleges?

You should be able to get into Notre Dame, NYU, Wake Forest and USC without going early decision. (Being Chinese should help you at Notre Dame and Wake Forest, but your numbers and 11 AP courses are enough to get you in.) You should also be able to get into UNC since you are both a state resident and male (which will help you there). Applying early decision will increase your chances at Cornell and Johns Hopkins, but there are no guarantees there.

What are my chances of getting into Stanford, USC, U Penn, or Brown University?

If you weren't prepared to sit the exam again, why didn't you cancel your scores while you still had the chance? Then Stanford would never have seen them. It is an option to take the ACT instead so you never have to send any of your SAT scores, though. Unfortunately, your grades are higher than your SAT II scores, which suggests to the admissions officers that your teachers are easy graders or that grade inflation is rampant at your school, devaluing your good grades. Try the ACT. Hope that helps.

Should I take AP Chemistry?

It is really up to you in the end. If you feel comfortable enough in chemistry to take on the challenge, then go for it. If chemistry is a subject you dread or not that good in, then don't. Also think about if it will make you feel burned out during the semester.

What do I do about my alcoholic father? Should I ask him to leave my life until he finds help?

I understand that you want to help your father but unforutnately for someone in his situation, there is nothing anyone can really do until he decides he wants to help himself. People who are addicts absolutely do have a disease, however it isn't the kind of disease that you can just pick them up and take them to the hospital. They have to make their own decision. Your father clearly hasn't made up his mind that he wants help yet. If I were you then I wouldn't do anything drastic like changing your name or cutting him out of your life. I would just keep my distance. ANd you know what, maybe YOU can be that person that comes if he needs help changing a tire. But just don't let him take advantage of you. Be there when he genuinely needs the help. And don't let his problems become the burden of your life. I'm sure that if you start going to therapy (which you don't really seem like you need one) they will give you better advice on what to do.
