Anybody else find Ference's fine weird?

Last night I was watching a recap of the Bruins-Habs game and after Ference was checked and got a goal he gave the middle finger. I don't think it was to anybody in particular but I might be wrong. I found it funny but at the same time there's kids who watch hockey and it's not really something they should see. Anyways, he was fined for giving the finger but does anybody else find it weird that the NHL showed that in the recap on tv last night? Showing it when it actually happened is understandable, you can't predict what celebrations will be, but then choosing to show it on the recap an hour later is kind of irresponsible on the NHL's part. I'm not saying he shouldn't be fined but it shows NHL inconsistency,again. Anybody else find it weird?
